This week was especially busy. On Tuesday, we began our 2nd semester of co-op classes with our Homeschool Group. Hayden absolutely loves co-op! He has made alot of new friends there. This semester he chose 4 classes - Chess Club, which he started last time.
(Now you all know me, I'm not so much for those very intense "strategy" games, but oh, Hayden is! He gets that from his father. I have taken a liking to Sudoku puzzles lately, and if J is around he gets over me telling me the answers before I can figure it out! Let the slow kid work at her own pace! )
He is also taking Game Time ( a PE type class); Beginning Volleyball and Sewing for Guys. You heard me, SEWING! They are making pajama pants and a -shirt. No, I did not make him take it! He wanted to, but then he shyed away from it. Finally, after talking to a high-schooler who asked for a class to be taught specifically for boys, he decided to go for it. Later, I learned that he was afraid people would laugh at him for taking the class. I assured him that the boys in the class would not laugh, and no one else had to know! Well, except all of you reading this, but I know you won't tell ;) And besides, his wife will thank me one day! (One more thing to make the girls swoon, as if his looks weren't enough.)
He is also taking golf lessons every week with some of the other families in our co-op group. Today was his second lesson. The gentleman who is coaching them is wonderful. I have even learned alot about the game. I forgot my camera today, so there are no pictures. I promise to take some next week and get them posted.
Better go for now - our last basketball game is only 8 hours away and I need my beauty rest. No comments from the peanut gallery please :)
