Show Us Your Life - Master Bedroom

Today is Show Us Your Life Friday over at Kelly's Korner.  Aren't you impressed I actually got it done on Friday this week?

I am so excited to post about our Master Bedroom. It still is a work in progress, but we just got our bed and night stands delivered last week.  I had picked out a bed before we moved in, but we kept putting off getting it.  I am so glad we did because I changed my mind and I love it!

 I plan to change what you see abovet the mantel but its what I have for now. I told you it still needed work!
I made the curtains.  Well, I guess I should say it was a team effort by my mom and myself.  But thankfully she made them her personal project during the summer and we got them finished.  I purchased the brown panels from Wal-Mart and bought the blue fabric and trim from Hancock.  We just sewed about 18" to the top and added the trim! It was that simple.  I love the way they turned out.

And I couldn't leave you without a picture of where Miss Priss will be sleeping for a while in our room.

It still needs lots of accessories, but it just takes time.  We have plenty of room for a sitting area so I plan to get a couple of chairs to put in here as well.
