Well, today(Friday) was Birthday Day at our house! As most of you know, Jimmy & Hayden share the Dec 14 birthday. (It would have been my father's birthday as well.) So, Dec 14 has always been a big deal to us!
We had a very yummy lunch with Jimmy's parents at Crystal River Seafood. Afterwards, we headed back to our house for cake that they got for the Birthday Boys. Tonight we picked up a couple of Hayden's friends, went to Pizza Hut, then to the opening night of Alvin and the Chipmunks. We all enjoyed the movie very much! When we got back home, I informed the boys that we would have cake- that I made- before they started playing. I got the worst looks and then the confessions "We really don't want cake. We are full of pizza and popcorn!" That was definately a first out of 3 boys who are always ready to eat! I assured them that they didn't have to eat any - just appease me with a smile for the camera and blow out the candles and they were off the hook. ( Got to have those pics for the scrapbook ;) They had a blast tonight and I think maybe they are finally asleep.
Oh, I didn't mention the age thing! Hayden turned 10! My baby is double digits! I can hardly stand the thought of it. He has been beside himself this week. Every day, he would say "Mom, can you believe its only 2 more days until my birthday?" Turning 10 was a big deal! This morning when he got up, I said "Let me see what a 10 year old looks like" He absolutely beamed!

Jimmy turned 40! Can you believe it? I am now married to what I used to consider "Middle Aged" ! GASP! Surely that is some very pre-mature gray hair he has!
