We are full swing into Baseball these days. Unfortunately, we are 0-3 right now. Hayden is playing well and has not struck out yet. I haven't taken any picutres yet. They will come later, I promise.
Jimmy took Hayden to the A Day game at Auburn on Saturday. They had a blast. It was Hayden's first trip to Auburn. He was so pumped. We have no pictures, beacause they didn't take a camera.
On Sunday, Hayden and Jimmy participated in the annual RA Racer Derby. We completed Hayden's car around 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning. Jimmy raced Hayden's car from last year. It was decorated in good old orange and blue (War Eagle). For those of you who may not know, J is a big Alabama fan!
Back to the race - Folks, if you've never seen one of these, it is a Big Deal! Honestly, the dads get way more into it than the boys. They have a preliminary race in the afternoon and the final race after church on Sunday night. They award trophies for the top 3 winners and the top 3 in design. I have to say that I believe this year's designs were the some of the best I've ever seen.
Well, since we don't really excel in the area of aerodynamics, we didn't exactly do so well. Jimmy did beat our interim pastor, Bro. Bob in one race, though. However, Hayden brought home 3rd place in design for his age group! Yea! That made his day! Here are some pictures:

Hayden's car is the American Flag one. Don't you love the baseball bat to his right?
It won first in design and 2nd in the race. The one on the far right with the holes won the race.

Sounds like you guys have had some fun! I can't belive Hayden had never been to Auburn before. I know that Jimmy left that camara on purpose! He did not want everyone to see him having a blast in God's country(AKA Auburn)!!!!
