Now on to the tour....
Welcome to our home.. come on in!

I made this wreath using an e-book found at A Soft Place to Land. I love it!
My tree has never had a theme, it is just full of ornaments that mean a lot to me. Almost all of them were gifts (some from our ornament shower -since we got married in December), things made by H, or ones we collected from places we've traveled. I know the story behind almost all of them. To me, it is beautiful because it tells a story, reminds me of family, friends, and memories from years past.

So can you tell where we have been on vacation over the past few years?

And the one ornament that I would cry over if it got broken:

This was made at church with H's hand print several years ago. Our children's director personally embellished their fingerprints into snowmen! Precious!
Our mantle in our grand room:

This picture does not do it justice at all. I came across the pre-lit garland for just a few dollars at a nearby wholesale floral supply store. I added a plain strand of garland behind it to make it fuller. I made and monogrammed the stockings last year.
Here's a part of my village in my grand room. This is not any type of collection , just various pieces that we acquired. My mom actually bought some of them at Big Lots several years ago because H loved playing with her village. He doesn't play with it much anymore, but he still likes it being there.

Here's my tree in the family room. In our old house, I used this tree in the playroom with various fun ornaments for H, but I needed a tree in the family room. I decided to use a pear green, red, gold and white. I love the way it turned out. Some of the ornaments even came from the Dollar Tree!

And here is the tree I did for J's dad's living room using red, white and silver:

We hosted our Sunday School class party last weekend - ( I know, I'm must be out of my mind!) Actually, I enjoy having people over so much! This is how my tables were set. When we got married I chose Christmas china for my formal pattern. I am ashamed to say I have not really used it until the past few years.

And this is my breakfast table. This is a set I bought for my mom before I married. Later I found an additional set that matched it and purchased it as well. I now keep both sets stored at my house since we host our family for Christmas.

More random decorations from around the house:

Reindeer towels from TJ Maxx

Joy pillow from Target

Plate I found at Cracker Barrel

Card holder wreath made by H using a coat hanger and clothes pins - another wonderful idea of our church children's director! Love her!
Thanks for stopping by on my tour! I enjoyed having you. Thanks Nester for hosting the tour!
