Paper Pregnant

There were days that I didn't believe it would happen. Waiting on it seemed like an eternity, but we finally got all the clearances and received our completed home study in the mail on Saturday!! We are officially ready to adopt!

We are still waiting to find out more from one situation. Hopefully we will know more in the next few days, as this one is due in a matter of weeks.  My plan is to move furniture around this weekend and start getting the nursery set up.  I got to hold a 4 week old baby girl last night and I just kept thinking how in a short time I would have one that small.  It is so hard to remember H being that size.

On other news, H is in full swing practicing football and baseball. He is now on a travel baseball team and will start playing in a couple of weeks.  Football starts in about 3 weeks.  He has come such a long way in his abilities and coordination this past year.  He is turning out to be one of the faster runners on both teams.  Of course with legs that long, one should be able to cover a lot of ground in a quick time.  I am so proud of him because he has been encouraging some of his team mates to work harder.  There is one boy on his football team that shows up late and misses running his laps. H has pushed him to run them, but offers to run with him. H came home last week and said that they boy looked at him and said (in his southern drawl) "Why you always trying to make me run?" I just laughed!  This is coming from a guy who used to hate the running as well!  H is getting excited about playing both sports and I can't wait to watch him!
