Never Too Old to Learn / New Look

So what do you think?  I've been looking to improve the blog and well you know I am a DIY kind of girl, so I finally figured it out. Well sort of, anyway.  I took an online class to learn how to customize it.  Don't get too comfortable with this look yet, though.  The class included several pre-designed templates that we could personalize and use as well as design our own from scratch. So this is one of those pre-designed packages.  It will stay this way for a little while, but I am working on a custom design.  I think it looks much improved already!!

And that's not all I've been learning lately.  I've also been taking a portraiture photography class online for the past month.  I have enjoyed it greatly and I believe it was very beneficial.  Here are a few of the shots I took for the class.  I have to turn in a group shot this week to finish up my assignments.

This was lesson on natural light.  I actually got a pretty good review from the instructor. I just needed a couple of slight adjustments.

This week was focused on how to photograph age groups.  I am still waiting for my instructor's comments on this one, but I like it!

This one I posted as a creative assignment.  We were to tell a story with our picture.  I thought this was appropriate as she is known for her big bows and flowers.  My title was "I like BIG bows and I can not lie"! LOL!  I had several nice comments from fellow students.
