I don't want to forget

Every day with Pumpkin is an adventure.  She is spunky to say the least.  If there is anything I have learned as a mom it is that time passes way too quickly.  I honestly think that being a mom at an older age has its advantages.  I seem to soak in more of everyday with her and just purely enjoy it.  Am I frazzled at times?  Well if you know me in real life you know I am!  But I love it!

There are so many things that she does and says and I so don't want to forget them!!  Some of her favorites right now are...

Running ahead of me to the bedroom and shutting and locking the door before I get there.  Thankfully she is opens right up when I tell her to.  And in the sweetest little voice ever she says
"Nice to see you!"

If she sees us change clothes or if Bubba walks around with out a shirt on she says "You nakin!"

Just yesterday I told her I was going to get her clothes to put on.  "I want pink" she exclaimed.  I came back in the room empty handed and she asked "Where's my dress?!"  I told her I was about to get it, but what about wearing blue for today. (It was a bit cool and our pink was limited!)  "No, I go with you".  Guess I needed some supervision in this process.  Alas, we came out with a pink dress. She is so opinionated and she's only 2 1/2!

She belches quite loudly and exclaims "That's me!" 

She wants to ring the door bell every time she walks in or out of the house.

 

And would you look at that!  Its a bow in her hair!!  And she loves it. (She has refused to wear one since she was about 12 months old!)  I am beyond ecstatic!  This was bought for my sisters wedding and about a week before, we "practiced" for the wedding by wearing it.  And after a week she is loving it... now to get more colors in that size! 

 

Pumpkin I love you more than words can express and can't imagine life with out you!
