Big Mac

Yep, Baseball is in full swing and guess what team we are on? McDonald's! (Now folks I have to be quite honest, since we are always on the field around supper time, I get hungry just glaring at those golden arches that they proudly display on their chest.) Another parent and I had a conversation on how we thought we should give each team member a nickname from the menu items. Guess who would qualify as Big Mac? He is the largest on his team of 11 & 12 year olds, of which half of the team is a year older than him.You can see for yourself here....



I measured him last week and he now stands at 5'5", an inch taller than me!


He is playing first base this year. Unfortunately, he's not having such a good batting average. He has struck out everytime he's gotten up to the plate (only two games so far). Oh yeah, check out the blue shoes! Blue is his all time favorite color and I took him shopping for the cleats. Even the man selling us the shoes questioned our uniform colors. Our answer? We had no idea what team we were on or what the colors would be other than we would have gray pants. Well at lease they are all primary colors! Here are some other pictures from the game.
