Fun Summer Day

Well is it HOT here or what? Unless you have a pool, outside is not the place to be this week! Today my nieces spent the day with us and inside is where we stayed, but not just at home. We headed out for a yummy hot dog at our local hot dog stand! Then it was off to the bowling ally. If you have kids who like bowling you might want to check out http://www.kidsbowlfree.com/ to see if your local bowling ally participates. Basically the kids get to bowl 2 games per day for free. You just pay for the shoe rental! Great for fun on a hot summer day!

When we got done, we ran by a local used book store and picked out several books for each one of them. Amazingly, it got very quiet in my van as they each got absorbed in their books! It was wonderful. I enjoyed them so much today. Very little arguing or whining! Now that's amazing!

Here's a new pic of the house progress. Actually this is from yesterday, so today it is compeltely filled in with dirt. ( Go ahead and yawn, I know I am boring you to death. I am literally out there every day with my camera! I know - I'm a freak!) For me it is so fun to see it progress from day to day!
