Snow in Alabama

This weekend J, H & I traveled to B'ham for the annual home school convention. This was the first time we have taken H with us. He had a blast! He spent most of the time playing chess at one of the vendor booths. And of course, he found the coolest thing that he had to have - Instant Snow - So you didn't read the title wrong, we had snow despite the 100 degree temp outside. It really is cool and so soft.








Now there was definitely some residue of this white powder left in our hotel room. I wonder if the housekeeping were at all suspicious? Or did they try to snort it? Seriously, I tried to clean it up, but if there was any trace of it left, oh well!

We also visited the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame and did some shopping before heading home. We arrived Sunday evening to find this:
