This afternoon, I decided to make a visit to a local furniture warehouse that sales slightly damaged goods, thinking I might find a "treasure" for the new house. As I got ready, I had a "distraction" that delayed my departure. ( I will spare you the details!) I began to get frustrated as the warehouse is only open a couple of hours a day. Just then, I was quickened with the thought 'Lord, maybe you are protecting me from something... a wreck or something' , as the road I would be traveling is know for lots of accidents and some very tragic ones at that. So I realigned my heart to be grateful.
Sure enough, just a few miles before our destination, we came upon this.....
A truck vs. a semi! Fortunately, according to local news sources, no one was injured! But it could have been me... if I hadn't been detained. Thank you Lord for those times you protect us and we don't even know it!
