This week brought about a first at our house... Our first college football game as a family. I know, I know... it's a crying shame we haven't done it before. In case you don't know - we are a House Divided. Half Alabama... Half Auburn, so I don't want to go to an Alabama game, although I did once when we were dating. And J doesn't want to go to Auburn, however he did take H to an A day game in the spring of last year. Actually we would be willing to go to either game, but we never make the time to do so. We were given the opportunity to go to the Troy- Middle Tenn game last night and we jumped at it! Troy is the team we all agree on. (J & I both got our degrees from the local campus of Troy University.)
We had a blast. Some home school friends were able to go with us. Their oldest daughter is in school at Troy so they were able to visit with her at the game as well.
Ok, this cracks me up... (Sorry if you are from the "Lighting Bolts"). This is the other team's drum major. Everytime I saw at him I just thought he looked like he should be on a cartoon named "Captain Lighting Bolt". (Remember "Captain CAVE MAN!") I'm sure his mother is proud of him, as she should be; I just found the uniform to be amusing
