I'm sure all five of you are on the edge of your seat wondering what I chose...
Sunday afternoon, we once again visited Sherwin Williams for more paint samples and came out with 5 colors to try. Last night we tried them out on a scrap of sheet rock and the color of choice for the doors is Black Bean - but don't let the name fool you... it's actually brown, a very deep brown. We stayed up and carefully made a list of what paint colors we want where for the builder. Well wouldn't you know it, turns out he really doesn't need it till late this week, so now I have time to second guess myself! No, I think I'm completely settled on it. I told him that I wanted to look at it after they finished the first door, just to make sure. He said that was fine and told me that he really thinks I will like the finished product. They will start painting next week and I can't wait!
On another note, H starts his fall semester of co-op classes tomorrow. He is very excited and is looking forward to spending some time with a 3rd grade classmate who started home schooling this year. One of the classes he is taking is guitar. We purchased him a guitar a couple of years ago because he expressed interest in taking lessons. Then he changed his mind and we started piano lessons. I am grateful that he can take this class and see if he really is serious about wanting to learn to play. I think it would be wonderful!
Yesterday was a fantastic day at church! Our pastor has been focusing on ways we worship and authentic worship. Our morning worship services were planned with a theme of "Authentic Corporate Worship". We worshiped through all types of music - gospel, hymns, contemporary, praise and worship, and even high church music. Responsive reading and Puritan prayers were also incorporated. All I can say is WOW! The worship was fantastic. How Great is our God!
