Oh boy have we enjoyed the weather the past few days. We have been in the 60's and I think even around 70 on Sunday! The avg temp here for this time of year is about 68. But we are headed back to the 50's for highs and 30's for lows later this week. I am so ready for spring and the time change! H's Baseball draft was tonight. He didn't have to draft since he is a returning player to the league. J is going to be the head coach. He came home quite excited over the players he drafted. We certainly hope to have a few more wins on the board this year. Last year our team finished last in the league. Very discouraging! They start practicing on Thursday night.
I have something else I want to share, but am not quite ready to do that just yet. Don't worry, it's a good thing. It's just that more details need to be in place first. Some of you already know or may guess it. But I would ask that you pray for us over the coming weeks. For this unspoken event, for my upcoming surgery and that our rental house would sell soon. It has been on the market for quite some time. We had a contract on it in the fall, but that fell through due to the buyers financing. God knows best and knows exactly what we need and when we need it, but I am ready for it to be a done deal! Especially since the grass will begin to grow soon and that will be another yard we have to upkeep!
