that she took her first steps on Tuesday!!
No joke. J called me into the family room where he was watching her and asked if she had taken a step for me yet. I assured him she had not, to which I replied... "I'm telling you she has not taken her first step yet." (Meaning, even if she had I was not counting it since I didn't see it ! LOL! ) At this point, Bubba seemed a bit confused. So I sat in the floor in front of her and she crawled over, pulled up, balanced herself, let go of me and took three steps right to me! Oh yeah, I was screaming and almost cried. I think it scared her a bit and she looked confused as well. So we proceed to pull out the video camera and for the next hour try to coax her into another step for the camera. You guessed it, it NEVER happened again!
I can't believe my baby is about to walk, although I knew it was just around the corner. She is one determined girl for sure. I better get my running shoes ready!!
