Christmas Celebrations

I can't believe Christmas has come and gone once again!  We had a wonderful time with friends and family this year and are anticipating seeing some other special family and friends later this week and early next week!

December 23rd is affectionately known as "Christmas Eve, Eve" around here. We always spend that evening with the Adkinson clan. This year we went to a nearby Holiday light display.  We had a great time and as always, some sweet memories were made.  Then we came back to our house to exchange gifts.

We went to my moms for lunch on Christmas Eve and then attended our annual Christmas Eve service that night.  We decided to exchange gifts at home that night rather than wait till the morning.  We figured it would just take some pressure off since everyone was coming to lunch at our house.  Little Miss wasn't impressed at all and slept through the whole thing!

My entire family came for lunch and we had so much fun!  Spending time together is what I love the most!  We ate entirely too much! The Dykes family popped in later that night to visit and exchange gifts as well. Everyone left by 8 pm and I was exhausted! I sat down to watch a DVD that I got and I fell asleep!
